What is the difference between private and group lessons?
Private swimming lessons gives your child one-on-one lessons between the swim instructor and your child. No other children are allowed during your child's private swimming lesson. Your child will meet with their swim instructor by themselves everyday that you book. Group lessons have a maximum of 4 participants per class. These group classes give your child the opportunity to make new friends and learn within a group setting.
When Do I Pay for My Child's Lessons?
All payments are done online. When you book your child's swimming lessons, it will direct you to a safe and secure payment portal. You can pay with any major debit or credit card and/or PayPal account. We only allow online payments through our booking site so our swim instructors can keep your children's learning lessons as the main priority upon teaching them.
Can I Book My Child's Appointment One At A Time?
Find a date that fits you and your child's schedule and book that first date! Have them come try it out and make sure they like it. We recommend you book at least 3 appointments at a time to make sure your child retains all the new skills they will learn. You can always book more later IF THOSE DAYS ARE AVAILABLE. For now, book the days you know you can do and you can always add more later if they are open.
Refunds, Rain Checks and Cancellation Policy
Foxworth Swimming Lessons has a strong team of instructors who are committed to showing up on time. All we ask is the same of you. If you book an appointment, show up on time or notify us of any schedule changes you need for your family. If you have an appointment booked but you do not show up, that appointment's payment will still be processed and kept. No refunds are given unless the lesson is not able to be fulfilled on behalf of Foxworth Swimming. Rain Checks are made if the lesson is cancelled due to bad weather. Parents do not need to pay again for rain checks, the date is simply moved to a day where the weather permits lessons to be taught.
Do Parents Have To Stay For The Duration Of The Lessons?
Parents are required to stay during their child's swim lessons. We encourage parents to stay and watch their child's development so you can practice those new skills with them. We also want to avoid any confusion by letting one parent drop them off and someone else picking them. So whatever parent is there at the beginning of the lesson and signs the forms is the one to remain during the 30 minute session that day and sign that child out.
Does My Child Have The Same Swim Instructor Every Class?
All of our swim instructors follow the same swimming lesson guidelines. They follow the same guidelines in case they are scheduled for different days. So not everyday will your child have the same instructor, but everyday your child will pick back off of the same lesson plan they were on. It all depends on how the schedule falls and the days you select for your child. But your child will have their own swimmers profile read by the instructors to keep your child progressing everyday with their new swim skills.
